These films serve as powerful catalysts for dialogue on themes of:

A RARE OPPORTUNITY FOR EUROPEAN INSTITUTIONS:

NOVEMBER 2025 - JANUARY 2026

For the first time in many years, I will be in Europe and available for in-person screenings and Q&A sessions. This is a unique chance to engage directly with the filmmaker behind the Death Contemplation Series.

THE SCREENING EXPERIENCE

The post-screening discussions tend to be incredibly vibrant. The film's sensory approach goes beyond ntellectual debate and sparks a deep, personal reflection in viewers, which naturally leads to a rich Q&A."

Wow! The film made me curious, it shocked me, it went from frailty to strength. A beautiful way of saving a cultural story from disappearing and making us respct and appreciate the beliefs held by other cultures.

I wanted to be present and experience the ritual firsthand!

Great cultural films! Powerful pictures and characters: authentic, vivid, full energy. Amazing music and sound. I felt I was there, feeling the aura of the protagonists.

You bring a reality from another part of our planet to us through your art.

An incredible piece of documentary and a great take on heritage preservation!

On a personal level -a  haunting, visceral meditation that stayed with me for days, making me wonder about the mystery of death.

ARTIST, FRANCE

Beautiful and uncomfortable at the same time, which I believe served the whole purpose. Challenging the view of the world we find familiar.

If I wasn't disturbed, it meant no emotions were lifted. I certainly was stirred – a sign of great filmmaking.

A STORY OF CURIOSITY, CAMERA & SACRED RITUALS

The story behind the Death Contemplation Series is one of a radically redirected life. It’s about a woman who traded a conventional life in Europe for the jungles of Southeast Asia to document the world's most sacred and misunderstood rituals.

I AM AVAILABLE FOR INTERVIEWS AND FEATURES.

The story can be explored from several angles:

  • The Modern Explorer: What does it take to leave an established career behind to document vanishing traditions in remote jungles? This angle focuses on the personal journey, the challenges of fieldwork, and the drive to preserve cultural heritage.

  • Face to Face with the Sacred: An intimate look at the experience of filming powerful death rites. This angle delves into the ethical nuances, the building of trust with communities, and the profound moments of human connection that occur when taboos are approached with respect.

  • The Art of Immersive Storytelling: How can a film make you feel a ritual without a single word of explanation? This angle focuses on the unique cinematic method—the use of music, intimate close-ups, and the absence of narration—to create a visceral, emotional experience for the viewer.

High-resolution stills are available upon request. For journalists on assignment, a secure, private preview link to the films can be provided to aid in story development.

I welcome conversations with journalists and can tailor an interview to your publication's focus.
